Betsey joined BMO Financial Group in 2011 and is the Chief Marketing Officer, Personal & Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. Betsey leads the BMO marketing team across Personal & Commercial Banking, Cards, Insurance and Wealth Management (in all global geographies). She is a key member of the Operating Groups’ executive leadership team, Operating Committee and Diversity Council. Betsey and her team drive programs that support brand awareness, client acquisition/lead generation including digital acquisition and content curation, share of wallet and client loyalty.

Betsey has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, working in the UK, Europe, US, and Canada. Having spent part of her early career in the UK as an Executive Strategy Consultant for KPMG Consulting, she has led marketing and digital strategies for FTSE 100 companies. She then joined American Express where she spent eight years on the senior leadership team, Accountable for Marketing, Product and P&L management for lending, insurance and small business card portfolios.

Betsey completed her MBA at London Business School in the UK, and also has her Chartered Accountancy designation.
